Betsy Jo Outten - Broker

Betsy Jo Outten is the broker/owner of CENTURY 21 Showcase Properties, Inc. and she is proud of both her business history and affiliation.

"CENTURY 21 Showcase Properties, Inc. has been affiliated with the CENTURY 21® System from its opening day," says Betsy Jo. "I feel that is one of the main reasons for our success over the years. The days of the traditional 'Mom and Pop' real estate are over. People want the assurance of quality and training that a national company affiliation can provide."

A high school teacher, with degrees in business and physical education, Outten came to real estate via a route which seems to be the way a majority of people got started in the business; they had a friend that sold real estate and influenced them to give it a try. For Betsy Jo, her introduction to the business came through helping a friend with her bookkeeping chores related to her real estate business. When Betsy Jo found that there were no openings in her field of teaching, she said she decided to jump on the bandwagon and give real estate a try herself.

Betsy Jo has two children, six grandchildren and one Great granddaughter . When not working or doing community service, Betsy Jo enjoys playing duplicate bridge and white-water rafting. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Eastern Star.

Jack Ganstine, Realtor Assoc.

Jack grew up and lived in Waldo for 50 years. He graduated from Gainesville High School and attended Santa Fe Community College. After retiring from BELLSouth with 31 years’ service Jack and his wife Mildred moved from Waldo to Keystone Heights and built a home. Jack and Mildred, his wife of 41 years, have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. He is active in church activities at First Baptist Church Waldo, a Past Master of Waldo Lodge No. 10 F. & A.M., and a 36 year member of The Louise Hunting Club. He enjoys hunting, fishing, anything on the water, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Jack has had a Real Estate sales license since 1971 and worked part time in residential real estate sales while still working full time for the telephone company. Jack decided to use the spare time he had in retirement to work in the real estate profession full time. Jack came to work with Century 21 Showcase Properties, Inc. in 2003. “The small town atmosphere and the friendly office environment along with the Century 21 reputation for customer service were deciding factors in coming to work at Century 21”, Jack Said.

Jack is well qualified to handle all of your real estate needs including residential and commercial listing and sales.

Dave Outten Realtor, Assoc.

Dave is new to Century 21 Showcase Properties, Inc. office, but not new to the real estate business. Dave has worked real estate in the Tampa – St. Pete area as well as the Tallahassee area. With over 21 years experience in the business he is well qualified to service the public’s real estate needs.

Dave was raised in St. Petersburg, graduated from Admiral Farragut Academy, attended St. Pete Junior College and Emory University. Dave has worked in the construction industry for over 50 years. He holds a Certified General Contractor’s License. He has been involved in building several structures in Florida.

I’m very happy to be joining the Century 21 team here in Keystone. The staff here is very professional. I’m looking forward to enjoying the Keystone area and working with the public.

Linda Parker, Realtor Assoc.

Linda joined the office staff in June of 2006 . She has been in the field of preeschool education and child care for 25 years. Although new to the field of real estate she brings with her experience of working with people. She moved to the area permanently in 1997 but has been a weekend resident for many years.
